The Feeder Reader is designed to track animals eating at a feeder or drinking at a trough.

A panel is mounted above the feed trough on a feeder or in a steel frame on a rectangular trough.

Up to 20 animals can be simultaneously detected through their standard EID tags when they have their heads close to the panel.

Livestock eartags are logged by the reader, recording length of time at the feeder and frequency of attendance at feeder.

Data is sent over a proprietary RF link which uploads to the cloud. Data can be accessed via an app on a mobile device or other computing device.
